Just War Theory merges progressive guitar playing in the virtuoso tradition of progressive rock with looping pedal technology and sonic collage recording techniques.
Genre: Rock: Progressive Rock
Release Date: 2018

While influenced by groups like Rush, Pink Floyd, Yes etc. "The Tyranny of Shrouds" Just War Theory is an original and experimental combination of progressive/art rock, looping pedal technology, sound collages and intense electric guitar. Just War Theory blends together the spaces between the harder edged elements of progressive rock/metal and the more experimental qualities found in art rock. The Tyranny of Shrouds presents a range of shifting moods and experimental elements framed by restless guitar explorations.

Adam Hughes Henry: I love the English cricket team so much I entered a solo for the shred this too competition!

Thanks Adam... you are a true star! Just off to have a cup of tea to get over the shock! A reciprocal arrangement... apparently I love the Aussie cricket team just as much as the Jazz Butcher loves our English boys! Some super not fusion licks, particularly in the trail out solo... enjoy!

Adam Hughes Henry: jazz butcher goes web

News:
19-05-2009:
Adam Hughes Henry reminds me that the Ashes tour draws near and time for England is running out... I say "What is Ricky Ponting going to do without his favourite drinking buddy Andrew Symons?".

Back to the world of guitar, Adam Hughes Henry, has a new web site with lessons and music to purchase. He also does session work... check out this multi talented player.

The debut CD from Circadia - CASUAL ENLIGHTENMENT is almost here!
This project is built on an instrumental collaboration between three independent artists.

CIRCADIA casual enlightenment Based on the concept of tuning in to our natural circadian ryhthms, these compositions are a soundtrack for contemplation and dreaming. This is reflected in the guitar, bass and drum loops that form the back bone of this recording.

Weaving themselves around these loops are intricate layers of experiemental interplay between the musicians. The end result is a dreamy post-modern mix of art-rock, world, jazz, fusion, blues and electronica.

Adam Hughes Henry: reharmonising stella ala holdsworth

News:
31-05-2008:
Adam Hughes Henry is back again from his home in Australia, explaining how to re harmonise Stella by Starlight using Allan Holdsworth techniques.

Adam Hughes Henry says:
Holdsworth - "Just for the Furious" Utilising some of the concepts used by Allan let us rescue the old jazz tune Stella by Starlight from itself; Playing in any number of theoretical keys at once; Replacing melodic and boring chords and scales with something more intelligent.

An Allan Holdsworth Method Part One Reharmonising Stella

Adam Hughes Henry says:
Bring your improvisations to the next level of creativity; Play in all keys "at once"; Making the chords "more intelligent"; Terrifying the bass player and educating the audience.
