Background:
Salvatore Vecchio was born in Italy. He has undertaken many years of private lessons covering concepts like jazz theory and harmony. He has also been learning guitar by attending clinics and watching videos of players like Jennifer Batten, Paul Gilbert, Steve Morse, John Petrucci and Frank Gambale.
He set up a duo with keyboard player, Simone Damiani. They release an official promo-CD "Shadows in the desert". Damiani and Vecchio set up and instrumental band "attitude" in 1999. Both were also members of the power-prog band Ivory. Attitude reflects thier neo-classical fusion and jazz rock leaning.
