Christoph Lindner: armadillo runner


Background:
Christoph Lindner was born on the 2nd of October in 1967 in Paderborn,Germany. He started playing guitar at the age of 13, was influenced by Ritchie Blackmore, Gary Moore, Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson.

In 1994 he took part in the pop-course at the Hamburg University of Music and Arts. He had a record deal with ZYX records toured with Nina Hagen and Wolf Maahn. Chris has also played on recordings by Marla Glenn, Marianne Rosenberg, Ilona Csakova, Tony Woods and Joshua. Christoph has also played many clinics and workshops for the company Line 6, and is now clinician for Matchless amps and Damage Control preamps.

A new debut CD is entitled "Groovin to the Bone" indicates that he has plenty of ability on the guitar. The current CD is an all instrumental affair and features twelve tracks in the legato fusion and rock vein.
