Matt Mills latest album "NeoClassical Rock Guitar"is released featuring 10 tracks of steaming neo classical rock guitar.

Background:
Born in Maryland, Matt Mills, like Theodore Ziras is one of the new breed of neo classical players who are extending the bounds of this genre. He follows in the footsteps of Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore,Joe Stump, George Bellas and Tony McAlpine.

Mills's playing is steeped in vast harmonised arpeggios and sweeps all played at hyper speed. He obtained this facility by practicing a lot in college sometimes 8 to 10 hours a day. He became really obsessed with getting better and this shows on his latest release.

Mills is a big fan of Bellas and Stump:
"I think that George Bellas and Joe Stump are probably the to best in the genre right now. George and Joe both have taken the style a further than their predecessors. George Bellas has the must fluent and clean guitar technique I have ever heard it sometimes resembles a keyboard more than a guitar. He uses massive arpeggio sweeping patterns the have a harp like quality to them, Its like Jason Becker but way faster and way cleaner if that is possible!!!! Joe Stump has some the same elements but he has a bit more of a Ritchie Blackmore feel to his playing and a lot of the pivoting type of playing found in Classical Violin Pieces." You can buy his Matt Mills Project (2002) and "NeoClassical Rock Guitar (2005)" releases from guitar9.
