I can assure you that this amp is the real deal. Do yourself and Jason a favor, Buy This Amp! You won't be sorry. Good Luck, K.J."

Dr Mastermind is recording a new album. Kurt James who was on the original 1987 release on Shrapnel Records is set to reprise his roll. However, inspired by truthinshredding, the new CD is set to feature other, as yet unknown, players. So if you think you can add a little shredding steam to this new release contact Matthew T McCourt at http://www.myspace.com/usmetal and get onside with Matt and former Yngwie drummer Tim Donahue. All recording will be done virtually over the internet.

Kurt James and Matt T McCourt reprise Dr Mastermind and headline a day one of classic metalfest. Look out for more information soon.

Background:
Kurt James originally from Costa Mesa California, is one of those amazing guitarists who set alight early Shrapnel era. The album that first made him famous was Black Sheep "Trouble in the Streets", an album that included Slash, Paul Gilbert, Mitch Perry and the late Randy Castillo.

He was also the man to replace Yngwie Malmsteen in Steeler. The man who replaced Tony Macalpine in Driver. The player who joined top Christian metal band Stryper. The man who wowed us all with sheer vibrato laden abandon on Dr Mastermind along with double bass drum monster drummer Deen Castronovo.

He has also played some session with Megadeth guitar player Chris Poland and took part in the Monster guitar show in Japan with Vinnie Moore, Mitch Perry, Joey Taffola and Michael Angelo.

He has since worked with former Anthrax frontman Neil Turbin's “Death Riders” project releasing “ThreatCon Delta” and soon to be released and appropriately titled “ Diary Of A Metal Thrashing Madman”.

Check this out for a bio of Dr Mastermind, listen to the music get the album here or here
This man deserves your time, get to hear him soon.
