Andreas Oberg also has a DVD-Live In Concert in PAL-format. This is his first DVD, a concert featuring the Romanian piano genius Marian Petrescu. Together with the swinging rhythm section Jörgen Smeby and Robert Ikiz, Öberg and Petrescu display their melodic sense and virtuosity in a reportoire mostly consisting of Öberg originals and standards. Also you can still buy Swedish guitarist Andreas Öberg's 11 tracks Solo CD, both electric and acoustic, live in studio without overdubs. Some of the tracks are really stretching the limits of what's possible to do on one guitar, for example the exciting guitar/bass-duet on one single guitar.

Background:
Andreas Öberg was born in Stockholm in 1978. He got his first guitar at the age of seven. His hard work and dedication saw him become one of the top ten players in Sweden.In 1994 Andreas attended Södra Latins Gymnasium where he discovered jazz and many of the worlds greatest guitar players, both traditional and modern.
His abilities have lead him to working with well known players like Jimmy Rosenberg, Putte Wickman, Joey DeFransesco, Mark Murphy, Stochelo Rosenberg Trio, Angelo Debarre, Marian Petrescu, Dorado Schmitt, Viktoria Tolstoy, Boulou and Elios Ferre, Jesper Thilo, Antti Saarpila, Jan Lundgren, and Lars Erstrand.
He has also completed recording sessions, TV-themes, commercials. Also in November 2004, Andreas received the "Gevalia-Prize", the finest award for young musicians in Sweden and was also nominated again for Guitar People Prize, this time along with great guitarists Ulf Wakenius and Rune Gustafsson.
