Lots of funky fusion tracks on Musicistweb featuring players like Lorenzo Venza and Filippo De Vecchi. don't forget the other mp3 on his web site.

Background:
Christian Bertini started playing guitar in order to emulate his two older siblings, who lead the way to his passion for guitar. At the age of 17 Cris decided to take the guitar more seriously taking private lessons from some local professionals in the field for a period of four years.

In 1995 he met Italian De Angelis, who changed his approach to guitar. Under his guidance Cris attended seminaries by players like Scott Henderson, Pat Martino, Jennifer Batten, Brett Garsed, George Lynch, Steve Vai, Tuck Andress, Barrett Tagliarino and John Stowell.

In parallel with his studies, Cris put together his first solo album "Overflower". Since then Cris has carried out his own private tuition and live exhibitions. He set up a number of bands including"Cris Bertini Band" tracks from Scott Henderson, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson etc. Also the "Groovelation Trio" playing fusion like, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Alain Caron, Jaco Pastorius, Mike Stern and Steve Lukather.

He is currenlty planning a new album with a lot fusion tracks. check out his web site for some excellent mp3
