Francesco Fareri will release his second album on Lion Music on March 23rd 2007. Entitled "Secrets Within" and is is quite different from Francesco’s previous releases. Francesco says:
"I believe this album to be the best material I've ever released and the one that best represents me. This album is really introspective and very important for me, it was inspired from the experience of the impossible things happened in the last years and from everyday stuff. This isn't a guitar album, as I wanted all the instruments to have the same importance in every song. I really care recording all music in general with particular attention".
Secrets Within also features guest keyboard/piano solos from Vitalij Kuprij and Bob Katsionis.

Francesco Fareri is finishing a new instructional method for beginner and intermediate level of guitar players, called 'The Shred Guide'. It will include a lot of exercises for all techinques and 30 and more scales and how to use them in the solos. He is also workign on a new solo CD. 17-04-2005: I missed this as well. Francesco will feature as a guest on the "Citriniti" CD. This group include Hydra(mpeg) an amazing bass player and the immensely melodic Fabrizio Leo Bicio. Check it out.
24-02-2005: Francesco is currently working on a new release called the "Forbidden Dimension" in his progressive/shred style. The CD features Kyle Honea, Jon Doman (drummer on these CD's ), keyboard wizards Bob Katsionis and Vitalij Kuprij. Francesco was ably assisted by Greg Howe for the drum recording and engineering.
Background:
Francesco was born in Rome, Italy in 1978. He took up guitar and had lessons early. His influences were the neo-classical guitarists: Yngwie Malmsteen, Joey Tafolla, Vinnie Moore, Tony MacAlpine and Jason Becker.
More recent influences include Vitalij Kuprij, Greg Howe, Shawn Lane, Rusty Cooley, George Bellas, Al DiMeola and Steve Vai.
His first CD "Suspension "was realased in 2001 and gives some indication of his neo-classical "speed is the key" type soloing. He went on to realse tuition videos and you can check his web site out for a full discography, including his Chops From Hell tuition series.
He now focuses on the 7 string guitar and has featured at the uk Jem Fest charity event. Check out the Jem Fest site for other videos of new players or see a number of videos of Francescos playing. He also has some video clip of lessons for you to view.
