Nov 19th 4:00PM
Hugh Ferguson will be performing at Rosalie and Alva's Performance Gallery's Open House for the Alvas Music Store Grand Opening. Hugh will be playing at 4:00PM in the afternoon with Brian Wright on bass and Steve Holmes on drums. In addition top fusion players Alex Machacek, Sumitra Nanjundan and Mario Lackner perform appear on stage at 6:00pm. All of these performances are free to the public.

Hugh Ferguson has been busy with his A.D.D. release party and a total revamp of his web site. The CD is getting great reviews and I recommend you check out his music soon.

More late, but great news:
Alex Machacek has recorded his guitar track on "total distraction" which will be released on the new A-D-D CD.



Hugh and Alex are currently setting up dates for live performances in LA and Orange County. Both bands will perform and Alex and Hugh will do a few tunes together. I'll let you know when the CD is released.

Hugh is working with his new trio on a new CD to be titled "A-D-D".

Background:
Hugh was born in Boston, USA. His early influences include Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Allman Brothers, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Chic Corea.

He has played in numerous bands, including Mr. Wizard band, also being featured in Guitar Player Magazine and performing as a warm up act for Allan Holdsworth.

During to 90's Hugh reached a hiatus and concentrated on proudly raising his family of three boys, supporting them by working manufacturing engineer and later becoming a software engineer.

In 2001 Hugh got back into the music he really loves "Fusion", recording his first fusion CD "The Jungle" . He is currently in the process of recording his new CD "300 Miles" which should be released very soon.
