Background:
Jason Sturges is not a typical shredder, but of the touch style guitarist genre. His style can best be described as a mix of beats, infusing classical, jazz, and funkish rhythms, which he describes as the "flux of fusion".

Jason Sturges's Chapman Stick is a 10-string Baritone Melody (standard bass tuning) made from oak with salmon finish and a standard "Stickup" stereo passive pickup. The string arrangement lowers in pitch near the center making the treble side somewhat like a baritone guitar with tuning down in perfect 4ths, and the bass side reversed with tunings up in perfect 5ths.

Check out his web site for string of organic mp3s.
