Tony Fredianelli: twilight of modern shred

Background:
Anthony Joseph Fredianelli was born on April 2, 1969 in Santa Monica California but was raised In Las Vegas, Nevada from the age of 4. His father was a 50's pop icon. Tony began playing piano, then drums, then the guitar at the age of 14.

He released his first album, The Forgotten Scroll, in 1987 with his band Apocrypha, The band released 2 more albums The Eye's Of Time(1988) and Area 54(1990) on Shrapnel records. He also released a solo album called Breakneck Speed(1993).

Tony's nickname is 'Monk'...which was a cooincidence for me...and musical influences included: Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Elvis Costello, Yngwie Malmsteen, Allan Holdsworth and Angus Young.

Later Tony quit the shred scene and became the guitarist for Third Eye Blind. After he left 3EB he formed his own band, Majik Alex, that has an Album called "That I Am".
Tony rejoined 3EB.
