Wooohooo...get ready for the G3 tour people...I want DCS and tactical database assimilation by 0830. Ordinance loading, weapon-strip and dropship prep details will have 8 hours. Now MOVE IT, people....yes that's right Paul Gilbert has revealed his band lineup for the upcoming G3 North American tour, also featuring guitarists Joe Satriani and John Petrucci. Joining Gilbert in his group will be Bruce Bouillet!!!! , Mike Szuter , Jeff Bowders and Emi Gilbert. The G3 tour will kick off on March 14 in Phoenix, Arizona....now can they hold it together for Europe!?!

Background:
While Paul Gilbert was teaching at M.I. Bruce Bouillet became one of his students. Bruce was already a great guitarist and he learned the things the Paul Gilbert showed him almost instantly. Paul and Bruce started trying playing in harmony and delivered the amazing sounds you hear on Racer X album Second Heat and Racer X live shows. At the same time drum monster Scott Travis joined the band.



Racer X started playing the local L.A. clubs and we were selling out concert venues like the Troubadour and The Roxy. Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan were often in the audience to see us. Paul and Bruce recorded the album "Second Heat" in 1988. The success of the live shows lead to the release of "Live - Extreme Volume" recorded at The Country Club. After that Racer X lost Paul Gilbert to the lighter weight Mr Big. Bruce attempted to carry on with rookie Christian Arvan. However, it didn't and Bruce went on to join the Band The Scream and later music production.
He joined band Epidemic and signed to Elektra Records. Their album was released in 2002. Also in 2002, the band toured opening up for Nickelback, Jerry Cantrel, Sinch, Default, Seether, etc. They had a video on MTV 2 and Fuse. The band also had a song on the Madden 2003 football video game. However, in that same year, the band...disbanded. Bruce went on to produce the "HHH" theme on WWF which was a certified gold record.

In 2005 Bruce produced,recorded and mixed along with Bob Kulik, Motorheads cover of Metallica's "Whiplash" that won a Grammy.

In 2005-2007, Bruce joined the Bottom Dwellerz production team, coproduced the Bottom Dwellerz album, and finished a solo album titled "BRUCE BOUILLET UNSPOKEN". Bruce just finished touring with Paul Gilbert as part of the G3 tour.

Bruce did produce an instructional video called "Improvisation for progressive hard rock guitar".



Bruce Bouillet has recently been working with Mike Varney Spotlight guitarist Sean Baker aon his second instrumental release. Bruce Bouillet has recorded some guitar parts for the release which also features Joe Stump and Marc Rizzo. Bruce Bouillet is also handling the mixing fot the CD.
