Check out Rick Graham's entry for the Essential guitarist Richard Hallebeek fusion jam competition. He decided to go for a 'rough round the edges' approach and as a consequence is somewhat different to the stuff he usually play. He enjoyed playing over the changes too. Feed back to petrucci forum

This is an example of the high standard of the entries recieved remember it is still open...you have to be in it ...to win it. For more details check out essential guitarist

Background
Rick Graham was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and started playing guitar late, at age 16. His early influences were new English wave based, but he was carried along by the heavier sounds of Metallica. He then discovered the guitar talents of Joe Satriani and Nuno Bettencourt. He joined a local jazz funk band and later started Music studies and classical guitar lessons. Rick also won first prize for 2 years running in the Leamington music festival and gained Grade 8 distinction with the Associated Board of the Royal School of music.

Rick has been focusing on tuition, writing and recording for his debut solo CD 'Magnetic Horizons'. So watch this space.
