Amazing Grace

26-11-2007:
The shred season continues. An oldie but goody. This time a repost of the Dannyjoe Carter video from MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/dannyjoecarter1 gives new meaning to the term incendiary licks. Super tremolo picking to the fore Dannyjoe spends a couple of minutes laying waste to his poor old Ibanez RG 550's with Seymour Duncan pickups, Ernie Ball 8-38, tuned down a whole step, leaving it all in a smouldering heap. All this after a bad days work at the office.

Dannyjoe has been around the guitar community for a while...I was inspired to post by Pete Pachio and Lori Linstruth's blog post "size-isnt-everything". Lori's post is investigating hand size in a systematic way. Think you've got the stretch on everyone...check it out.

Dannyjoe is also on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/dannyjoecarter1 with lots of video...some samples for you...

Background:
Dannyjoe Carter was inspired by Ace Frehley, Joe Perry and Peter Frampton and then the wild man, Ted Nugent. Later he discovered Michael Schenker and Gary Moore and some more bluesy players like Billy Gibbons and Ry Cooder. hE is a big fan of the late Shawn Lane and his number one top player is George Lynch.

He didn't learn music theory, he learned the old fashioned way of practicing 10-12 hours a day. Currently hew only need a few hours a week to stay on top of his playing.

Dannyjoe is in the process of recording a new CD set for release summer 2007. Check out his Guitar player June 2005, mp3 and CD | video
