Leonardo Porcheddu will appear with Vitalij Kuprij live debut in Rome, Italy on February 6th at Stazione Birra. Joining him will be Chris Catena and Doogie White on vocals, Aleks Ferrara on bass and Daniel Flores on drums. Support on the date from Italian prog-metallers ASTRA.
Peformed by Heroes of Sand (italian official tribute band) guitarists, Leonardo Porcheddu & Raffaele d'Ettorre.

I freely admit to missing Leonardo Porcheddu by accident, so apologies alround for the delay in adding. Background:
Leonardo Porcheddu was born in Rome Italy in 1978...the year I first went to to Rush play live. He is known as a guitarist, composer, arranger, teacher. Leonardo spent a lot his his time studying for a diploma in music.
Currently Leonardo teaches music and guitar privately and he is also playing in bands. He has also played and collaborated withsuper kyboard player "Mistheria" on his "Messenger of the Gods" CD. He has also workd on some tribute CD's, Jason Becker, Shawn Lane, Jimi Hendrix published by Lion Music.
He has played or collaborated with Anders Johansson, John Macaluso, Matt Bissonette, Ron Thal, Jeff Kollman, George Bellas, Alex Masi.
The good news for sizzling guitar fans is he is working on his first solo album. He is currenlty still woring on the material. Hopefully this will refect his Jazz-Rock / Funk style, of modern Fusion that pays homage to players like Greg Howe, Richie Kotzen, Brett Garsed and T.J. Helmerich. Expect also that Leonardo Porcheddu will appear on the next Mistheria CD.
