Background:
Nils Norberg was born in Umeå, Sweden where he currently lives. He has two brothers that play guitar so they pushed each other to play. His parents always gave them time to play and never complained if the amps were cranked too loud. He is currently the resident guitar player for Nocturnal Rites,
Other influences include: Olec Balta, Allan Holdsworth, Laleh, Chick Corea, Michael Lee Firkins, Björk, Pantera, Rob Zombie, Coltrane, Miles. He also inlcudes Allan Holdsworth "Secrets" in his top five albums.
Current guitar rig includes: Caparison Custom 7-stringed guitars, Caparison 6-stringed guitars, Engl SE Amp, Home Made 100W Tube amp, TC electronics G-Major, some own designed FX boxes.
