Background:
Sylvain Cloux was born in France. He went to music academy at the age of 7 studying for 3 years learning music theory, flute and one of my favourite instruments the clarinet. He became interested in heavy metal like Iron Maiden, Helloween and started guitar at the late age of 16.
At 17 he took lesson with "Stephan Vaillant" where he learned techniques like legato , speed picking , fast penta tonics and building compositions, via ear training.

At 21 he composed an experimental album wich is based on the asymetrical rythm and got more into jazz-rock and progressive metal, like "Uzeb" "Dream Theater" "Mike Stern" and others. He then attended a professional musicians school in Paris, taking lessons with Mathias Desmier for two years and Stephan Guery and Sylvestre Planchais as well.

He joined "Forgas Band Phenomena" for the recording of the third album with the band. Later he released "Full Fool" an instrumental CD highlighting his jazz rock and progressive metal skills.

Check out his web site for mp3

The CD Full fool is avaialble from guitar9.
