Background:
Tim Gibson discovered his father's acoustic guitar at the age of fourteen. He learned from listening to CD's. He was interested in technical players early on and struggled to find any teachers capable of teaching him in that style.

Tim Gibson attended Berklee College of Music in Boston studying under Joe Stump. He also got in touch with Tom Hess. During his senior year he taught guitar lessons to several students and gave a guitar clinic to his high school. In early 2007, being only 20, Tim was offered a teaching position at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.

After high school Tim began to work on some instructional products with Tom Hess. He has also written for www.shredacademy.com and www.guitarz-for-ever.com.

Tim will also be featured on an upcoming release by OSV that also has Lion Music recording artist Francesco Fareri and Leviathan recording artist Matt Mills making appearances.

Tim is currently working on his solo album, instructional DVD’s, and getting endorsement deals.
