Background:
Bill Hall started playing guitar at the age of 10 and really became serious after hearing Eddie Van Halen. He is still one of his favorite players today. later Yngwie Malmsteen and Allan Holdsworth were huge influences. Since then he has been influenced by Greg Howe, George Lynch, Paul Gilbert, Mike Stern, Shawn Lane, Scott Henderson, Jeff Beck, early Eric Clapton, Vinnie Moore and Tony Macalpine, as well a lot of jazz and classical music. Bill also loves Miles, Parker and Coltrane and he listens to a lot of Classical music.
He plays Kramer guitars as well as his Frankenstraat guitar built by Dr Frankenstraat.
Bill was also featured in Guitar World's Hometown Heroes and is currently teaching guitar in Canton, Ohio. He is currently in the process of recording a new CD of instrumental guitar music.
