Background:
Tonio Ruiz was born in Mexico. He has been playing guitar for more than 18 years. He has played with some big name bands in Mexico and Latin America including CODA and his latest band QBO. There are two band web sites: http://www.qbo.com.mx/ and http://www.qbo.com.mx/.
Tonio has also been working on instrumental music as a side project Like a side project and writing instrumentals for quite a while mainly for the fun of it. He still has a dream to release these in CD fromat in the future under the title "The light from nowhere".
Influences include: Vivian Campbell, Steve Luckather, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore, John Sykes, Paul Gilbert and many more...check out the instrumental demo track Run away which is highly pleasing to the ear!
