Another positive review for Dave Justo's release from www.metal-archives.com reaching a 78% score.

I genuinely recommend 'Aura' to all you reading now. It's great for typical metalheads, shred freaks, and those who simply love guitar-based music. It's not silly, it's not cheesy, and it's not excessive: it lacks all the things that shred overdoses on and replaces it with relaxation and deft songwriting skill. Really, really quite good.

Background:
Dave was born and raised in a small town in south-eastern Pennsylvania, and is twenty two years of age. His main inspiration comes from the Baroque and Romantic periods of music. He has been with several bands, more notebly, the late Headless Cross of England, an agressive thrash metal band comparable to Megadeth. He has left all, only to pursue his solo career, abling him to add a lot of hard to grasp, not so commercial ideas. With a high demand for his debut album and almost 70,000 plays on his Myspace, he has being doing quite well in his solo career.

Dave is interested in playing music styles that range from rock to metal to classical to progressive, along with some fusion.

guitar9 says:
Aura is Dave Justo's debut album, with the main focus on a virtuoso guitar player. All instruments and vocals have been recorded and written by Justo, giving the album a fresh approach with an eclectic elegance. Styles range from rock to metal to classical to progressive, along with a bit of fusion. Give this album a listen, and you'll feel all of the neck-tingling, hair raising moments. With his mature, romantic version of shred, there will surely be a lot of original ideas for listeners to grasp. If you're a fan of the great classical composers, you'll appreciate the touch of modernization Dave has given to his versions of a few Bach and Chopin piences included on Aura
