Background:
Jim Finn was born in Ohio in 1969 and started playing guitar 17 years when he received his first guitar on his 17th birthday. Jim started by using Doug Mark`s Metal Method and various other instructional books and video`s.
influences include: Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, Allan Holdsworth, Paganini, Bach, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, Vinnie Moore, Tony MacAlpine, Taffolla, Friedman, Rusty Cooley.
During 1995 Jim entered and won the "Guitar Master Series" winning the title of "Best Guitarist" in Houston.
Later musical influences include: Shawn Lane, Derek Taylor, Buckethead.
Jim Finn is currently working on a self titled debut release due January 2008.
