Background:
Emir Hot was born on February 23rd 1978 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He showed his first interest in the guitar when he was 5. His first influences were Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton. He enrolled in music school at the age of 10.

A couple of years later, the war in Bosnia & Herzegovina started. However he remained playing in bands, finally forming the band Neon Knights. The band land a deal in Italy, where they played a small tour of 10 concerts in 10 different cities. In 1998, album Deserted Land was recorded and released.

At the beginning of 1999, Emir joined a band called Southern Storm. But the situation in Bosnia forced Emir to leave. He went to the Berklee College of Music, Boston and he passed the audition. However, Emir struggled to find the financial resources to pay for college, arranging music festivals, guitar workshops, played countless club gigs, helped many bands as a studio musician, led his own private school of guitar...to pay the fees.

In 2004, he recorded the first instrumental album, "Quarterworlds of Fantasia", in Split, Croatia, together with Dean Clea Brkic - singer of Croatian rock heroes "Osmi Putnik". The album has not been released. Emir joined The London Guitar Institute and in May 2005, he won Guitar Hero 2005 winning equipment worth over £2000. Emir HOT currently lives and works in London
