Background:
TJ Ken is based in Japan. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. By the age of 18 TJ was more interested in the technical aspects of guitar playing mixing string skipping, sweeping, tapping with rock fusion ideas.
He then joined a band and at the age of 22 decide to produce his own instrumental material while continuing with the band. He released his first solo CD entitle “DIMENSION X” in 2006.
Influences include: Angra, Kiko Loureiro, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch,Pat Martino, Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert and Andy Timmons, Frank Gambale, Ozzy Osbourne, Mudvayne , Evanescence. In Flames, Symphony X, Helloween, Bad Moon Rising, Rischie Kotzen, Gargoyle, X Japan, Claude Debussy, Bach and Shubert.
