Body: Hi Friends,
I went to bed early last night only too wake up at 2:30am.I went to my computer and checked my emails one of them was my good Friend and Guitar Shredder "Bobby Ferrara"well at least I thought it was until I opened the email but it was from his wife Angel tell me that Bobby had passed away from a Heart Attack the night before and how much in shock she still is.

I'm very sad because Bobby and I grew up together on Long Island,N.Y. and hung out alot back then,in fact i showed Bobby alot of stuff on guitar back them.He has gotten pretty far as a well respected Guitar Shredder. He moved N.J with his family then later to California and got married.About 8 months ago he brought a house in Texas and I know he loved it there.

The last time I saw Bobby was when he lived in N.J.I drove 3 hrs to visit him for a full day of us both shredding in his mothers house!

we lost contact and about a year ago he found me on MS so we've been keeping close contact since then.He has gained many cool connections with guitar companies over seas and was working on a very cool solo projects in which I was gonna lay down a few tracks..

He was such a kind guy he never drank, smoked or did drugs and thats one of the reasons why we got along so well.We both just thiught about guitar!

I'm pretty much a MESS right now so if i don't respond to any of you here on ms pls understand..

Below is a Link of my good friend and first guitar student:Bobby Ferrara..

Background:
Bobby Ferrara, born Robert Patrick Ferrara now living in Palm Springs, CA, originally hailed from Queens Village, New York . He is self taught and (among other things) a world class, ultra fast shred guitarist. He has been described by the world's top guitar shredders as .. melting metal with burning speed ~ chaotic melodic maniac ~ jaw-dropping ~ faster than the flight of the bumble bee at double speed, then faster ~ a metal burner and the quotes go on. Bobby is all these, with much more, his playing is the cleanest I have ever heard at such high speeds and looses absolutely nothing, his shredding contains far more melody than his worldly counterparts, but he is more than this too. His composing is fresh, clever, and as passionate as his playing, his haunting guitar work cries in his rock ballads, using as much compassionate control and projection in his slow work as he does in his high speed shredding. Bobby Ferrara is a true guitar virtuoso.

  1. Bobby will be missed! He was such a down to earth guy. Bobby helped me getting endorsement deals with Industrial Amps and Ollmann Elektronik and never asked me for anything in return. That's the kind of guy Bobby was! A true friend!

My prayers goes to Angel and his family!
