Angel Vivaldi: fantastic expectations amazing revelations

Black Market Hero's lead guitarist Angel Vivaldi has just released his debut album titled Revelations exclusively on the Official AV Myspace Page, (SnoCap booth).



Angel says:

I can't fully express how delighted I am to finally release this record after 3 1/2 years. It has been a long, gruelling and painstaking process however with persistence and drive it has finally seen the light of day. I hope that you all take a listen and feel that it was well worth the wait. I am working on the upcoming music video for my single, "As The Sky Lay Burning" which should be out in the next few weeks.

A portion of proceeds from the record will be donated to the Save Tibet Fund every month. These songs have been around for quite sometime; so needless to say I have already begun to lightly walk on structuring the next record! I plan on going into pre-production for the next record sometime in September or so.

I have been undertaking quite an amount of projects as of late in addition to the debut record release. As most of you know, I am now the lead guitarist of metal band Black Market Hero, featuring members from FLAW and 40 Below Summer. We are hitting the studio this week for our 2008 release. No release date or tour dates scheduled as of yet. I'm working on the BMH's website which is expected to be out sometime in the Spring with our release.

In addition to that, I have been delving into my acoustic side as of late in a project called Angel and Abraxas. This project is essentially me with an acoustic guitar; not much more. The word 'Abraxas' is used to describe the genre, being that the word has no real definition itself. It's along the lines of Preston Reed, Stanley Jordan and Kaki King. I have been performing some of this brand new material here and there to get a feel for what you guys think. It seems to be getting a great response. I will be recording this material during the summer as well. Stay tuned for that.

Last but not least I have been serving as a co-writer, guitarist and bassist on the upcoming Final Straw record. Final Straw is a hard punk rock band fuelled by drummer and frontwoman Katherine Pretto. We have one more day of bass and vocals then we're finished tracking the EP. I'll be posting updates on that as well.
