Rafael Nery: guitar clinic gets a refresh

I hope everything is well with you guys! First of all, I have my new personal website on the air, so I would be happy if all of you guys could check it out on www.rafaelnery.com. Ok, you guys have probably noticed that the website looks different , in other words this is the New Guitar Clinic! So please read carefully the text below, because I will explain what has changed and how the new website is going to work.

We did several accomplishments with the website on the past 16 months and we really can say that we are proud of ourselves, because the website has been visited all over 90 countries. So thank all the viewers and staff for believing in the whole idea and in the website. Everything in life has to improved and from this experience, we took a look at these past months, we realized that we should move to a bigger idea to keep reaching more viewers. A lot of work was required to make this thing to come true and I have to tell you guys that was definitely the hardest month when it comes about working on something,since we have a new system and we have changed the website s format. The website came out as an online magazine and it was pretty cool, but we noticed that this format had some problems that we could improve if the website had the chance to become an online guitar portal.

What were the problems? The biggest problem was that the viewers could check the whole website with the uptaded content, but after two or three days there was nothing exclusively , in other words we want people to have the chance to get some fresh news and to visit the website everyday. Other problem is that is really difficult to fill up all the sessions of the website every month, for example: we don t have products every month from some company to review or players to be featured on our demo tape session and when we do, people will not have to wait one month to check out their products or songs. So, how is this going to work?

First of all, due to the lack of time and difficulty of putting all this together the website is not 100% updated, actually all the sessions are totally updated, except the columns session since it has a lot of issues and we even doing our best we couldn't send almost one thousand files to the system, this material is going to air until the end of the month. We have some columns already updated and it is going to be updated day by day, so soon you guys will have all the previous content. Remember, the columns which are updated were chosen by chance, we didn't decided like that: I want to upload columnist X because he is better than Y.So, pretty soon you guys will be able to check the whole content. Backing to the main subject, now the website is going to be updated daily or at least the most we can, so from now we have no dead lines like "July edition has to air on month x 15th", or "it is missing something for our check up session, we have to find something" , We will send the files as soon as we get them. The only things are going to be monthly are the columns and the interview (which still will feature a cover, even we are not in an online magazine any more) with no specific date to air, but at the beginning of the month.
