We have a full-page ad promoting the contest in next week's Guitar World magazine, expect a whole new wave of competition entering the contest. We also distributed 10,000 flyers for the contest at Ozzfest and at various Summer Mayhem dates.

A number of shredders are having great success posting their banner on MySpace, YouTube, AOL Video, Yahoo video, VIMBY.com, and Facebook as well as the forums at GuitarWorld.com, GuitarPlayer.com, and the forums of whatever brand of guitar they happen to play. It's not hard, it just takes some time and effort to make a huge difference in your stats. And to make it in the music business you've got to scream for attention and do all you can to encourage people to check out your CD, your band, your next show or in this case your Shredder Search video entry.
