Billy Sheehan: about rush and the classic metal interview

Jenn put the transcript together from a recent show. Jen says:
The podcast was streamed in real-time and could not be saved. I typed this as I listened… yes, I do type this fast! :) I have three Q&A pairs from Paul’s interview on the same show transcribed, but they are all about Freddie Nelson and United States. I am working on re-doing the transcript. I am also working on getting the rest of Billy’s interview transcribed – hopefully both will be done on May 25! So if you absolutely need the audio source, please try to contact The Classic Metal Show.

Billy Sheehan:
We had a blast. One thing that I’ve gotta say about the guys in Rush… What a nice bunch! We had a great time. They’re the most friendly, gracious, generous people you could imagine. And nothing makes me happier then when I meet someone that’s sort of well known, and have them be an incredible person, and Geddy, Alex, and Neil were three of the finest people ever. They were so nice to us. On top of being spectacular players. So it’s always good to see that. ‘Cause many times you see someone who’s a great player, but maybe catch ‘em on a bad day or something, and you wonder what kind of person they are. But the guys in Rush, they were spectacular, it was just fantastic. We played a lot of big shows with those guys. Neil is just incredible. Geddy, awesome. Alex… who can say more about Geddy’s bass playing. (thing?) is great. It was an amazing experience.
