Tommy Ermolli: http://www.tommyermolli.net/ Tommaso Ermolli is a guitar player and composer, born in Padova (Italy) in 1988.

Being born in a quite musical family, he got the "music disease" at the early age of 10.

MUSICAL EDUCATION

After a short period of self-teaching, Tommy had the chance to study with several private teachers. In chronological order they are: Antonio Ongarello (author of instructional books for BMG and Carish), Marco Fanton, Massimo Varini (Nek, Laura Pausini, Vasco), Paolo Rettore and Alessio Menconi (Billy Cobham, Paolo Conte).

Music In Film certificate at the London Film Academy. The course was held by Simon Whiteside, composer for the famous British tv network BBC and orchestrator for composers by the likes of Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek I, II & III, The Chronicles of Narnia, X-Men The Origins: Wolverine) and Nicholas Hooper (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince).

Higher Diploma at the Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance, studying with David Birnie, Phil Capone, Gianluca Corona, Martin Goulding, Lee Hodgson, Barry Langton, Andy Saphir, Jay Stapley, Tolis Zavaliaris, Ken Foreman, Sophie Daniels, Tony Moore and Kit Buckler.

PERFORMING

Tommy has played on albums released by two of the most successful music labels of today's scene: Frontiers Records (Toto, Whitesnake, Allen/Lande) and Lion Music (Seventh Wonder, Tony MacAlpine, Jennifer Batten). In addition to the live shows with his main band TwinsSpirits, Tommy had the chance to be on the bill for three important Italian guitar festival (Guitar Fest and Guitar Day IV and VI) sharing the stage with Paul Gilbert, Mattias Eklundh, Marco Sfogli, Michael Angelo Batio, Josè De Castro, Daniele Gottardo and many others.
