The stars have aligned... the Wang-Off has been Rescheduled! The New date is Sunday November 6th at The Cinema Cafe Pembroke VA Beach!

The wait is finally over…
Shred is back! Along with it, and after over a decade of hibernation, we are proud to announce the return of the original Hampton Roads Shred Guitar Competition. The Wang-Off returns on Sunday November 6th!!

It’s time to show everyone what you are made of, and have a shot at some mega prizes as well. As if winning the title and all the bragging rights that come along with it is not enough, Alpha Music has teamed up with Gibson Guitars to offer some of the biggest prizes ever for a guitar competition in this area! The prizes for the two age brackets will be a USA 1961 Reissue SG and a USA Les Paul Traditional. That’s over $6500 in two guitars just waiting to be claimed.

The competition will be held on Sunday November 6th at The Cinema Cafe Pembroke VA Beach – 758 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23455. The event will be FREE ADMISSION and the show starts at 1pm! Invite all your shred lovin' friends and family!

Matthew Mills will perform and judge at The Alpha Music Wang-Off! Yes... you heard that right!! Matthew Mills will be one of our guest judges for a Wang-Off Guitar Shred Competition AND will also perform a short set for your shredding pleasure!
