Eastwood Guitars introduces the new Wandre Tri-Lam
2012 promises to be a major year of new product launches for Eastwood Guitars, starting with the introduction of the new ultra cool Wandre Tri-Lam. Based on the extremely rare 1960s’ Wandre Tri-Lam, the guitar is a beautiful combination of art and function.
Eastwood’s 24 ¾” scale Wandre Tri-Lam features a full hollow body design with maple top, back and sides. The two distinctive and stylish grilled f-holes give the guitar a look like no other, and like the original the Tri-Lam it features the unique suspended pickguard which houses the pickup and volume control. This guitar features a bound maple set neck (instead of the aluminum from the 60s) and has a rosewood fingerboard with dot markers. The Tri-Lam is equipped with a New York Mini Humbucker, floating Tune-O-Matic Bridge, Grover Style tuners and a custom chrome tailpiece. Available in a blue or red, the Wandre Tri-Lam is guaranteed to turn some heads.
“Wandre guitars are amazing and rare pieces of musical art. Most originals are selling for thousands of dollars these days" said Mike Robinson, President and founder of Eastwood Guitars, "Our goal is to continue to make these crazy 60s’ style guitars available and affordable for guitar players everywhere.”
