Neils Vejlyt: 8 Finger Tapping Extreme Shred with tab

TABS: http://www.nielsvejlyt.com/index/8-finger-tapping-extreme-shred-how-to-shred-...Hey guys, here is some extreme shredding for you, its a really fun but also extremely challenging to play because first of all you are playing four fingers on both hands on the fretboard and also its played way low on the fretboard so you really need to practice your stretching for this one. I consider this style of shred guitar licks to be some of the toughest to not only play but also to be able to damp the rest of the strings while playing it, the keyword here is accuracy, because theres not much you can do to damp while both hands are on the fretboard with all four fingers. The chance you do have to damp when you are doing the 8 finger tapping part is to while you are skipping the strings from the A string to the B string you have a little time to position your right hand palm to clean up your playing. So my advice to you if you want to master shred guitar like this is not surprisingly PRACTICE like a maaadman !!! Notice that when I play the triad arpeggio in the first part of the lick I use the long finger and the little finger for this, and that is because I like to keep the pick close if im playing other techniques while improvising for example so I can quickly move between techniques without having to find the pick again. If you have experience with arpeggio tapping then you will also observe that playing Triads with tapping is way more challenging than four note arpeggios simply because the intervals between the notes in the triads are larger, so even though notewise the arpeggio is simpler than a four note arpeggio the technique to execute it is much harder. I hope you love it !!
