Switzerland's Got TalentFinalist Ready To Rock U.S. with Smash Hit "Barbie Doll"Pop/Rock Artist to win over U.S. fans with her latest release
Los Angeles, CA - Switzerland's Got Talentfinalist, Scilla (pr. Sheila), will release her hit single, "Barbie Doll" in the U.S. this spring on iTunes. Scilla's indisputable passion shines through in her vocals and lyrical integrity portraying stories of independence and head strong women, deriving her influences from Pink, Do Doubt, Heart and Joan Jett.
So who is she? Scilla's headstrong lyricism and gritty style is a staple feature in her artistry. After realizing her passion for the arts at just three years old while singing car tunes with her grandmother, Scilla went on to study dance, voice and even the piano. The graduate of the School of Musical in Milan made her presence known competing inSwitzerland's Got Talent, the Swiss version of the famed TV show America's Got Talent, in 2011.

At only 22 years old, she has been featured on major Swiss radio stations and TV shows. Scilla reached the top 10 in the Swiss final of the popular European TV show Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 with her song "Barbie Doll". She re-entered the competition in 2011 with her radio-ready hit "Masquerade" where the singer's perseverance placed her 3rd at the Swiss-Italian final of the nationally-televised show. With such exposure, Scilla caught the eye of world-famous clothing brand GUESS who has endorsed her. The energetic singer recently moved to Los Angeles to record her upcoming project and graduated from Hollywood's Musician's Institute in 2011.

Working non-stop on perfecting her craft, the pop/rock princess has made it a point to highlight her independence. Slapping adversity and weakness in the face, she releases her single "Barbie Doll" co-written and produced with Rafael Moreira (guitarist for Pink, Christina Aguilera, Paul Stanley of KISS). "Barbie Doll" is filled with spunky attitude and injected with classic electric guitar rifts that force heads to nod and bodies to jump. With the release of her new single and EP, the Switzerland native is out to win over the American public as she did back home.

Unapologetic and bold, Scilla wants the world to know that she has arrived and she's making a spot for herself in the music industry. Her ultimate goal is to catapult into international stardom and with a package like hers, this seasoned Swiss expects to do nothing less.
