Josh Pasley: Everyday Sidekicks - metalcore

Everyday Sidekicks was formed in March 2012 by Josh and Archie after their previous band broke up. Originally under the name 'A Day After Disaster' and set to a metalcore genre, they recruited frontman Greg Oldfield, and bassist Dan Gilbert before eventually settling on Post Hardcore.

Playing shows through out the summer of 2012 with a handful of different guitarists, Everyday Sidekicks recorded their first E.P in September at Innersound Studios in York. This led to their first headline show and festival appearance in the months that followed.

In early 2013, Everyday Sidekicks headlined The Fleece and supported influences Cars On Fire at The Louisiana. In March they recorded their debut album 'Set Yourself Alight' at Anemic Studios with producer Kevin Peters, which then released 29th July on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more.

After playing a huge show to over 1,000 people at Bristol's 02 Academy supporting Bam Margera from Jackass, Everyday Sidekicks are due to play shows all over the UK this Winter, before writing some new material for the new year. Watch this space!
