Daniele Liverani: Fantasia - the new album announced


The Italian multi-instrumentist Daniele Liverani is a cornerstone in Italian metal. He carved his reputation not just as a solo artist but as member of the bands Empty Tremor, Khymera, Twinspirits, Cosmics, Prime Suspect and mentor behind the Genius Rock Opera.

His first product was a 1988 cassette “Me And Me Too”. Another cassette was issued in 1994, entitled 'Nearly Gold Emotions'. The following year Liverani attended the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, where he recorded his first instrumental album: “Viewpoint”, released later after some years. The album was recorded at 56 Studios in Santa Monica and features the talents from Armored Saint and Fates Warning: Joey Vera, Ricky Wolking on bass and Julio Mathis II on drums. 



In 1995 Liverani discovered the young promising band Empty Tremor and joined them as a keyboard player, writing, producing and playing keyboards on the albums “Apocolokyntosys” and “Eros And Thanatos”. Finally “Viewpoint”, his first solo album was released in 1999. Liverani's next move was the monumental trilogy “Genius” releases in 2002, 2004 and 2007. In 2003 Daniele was embroiled in yet another ambitious venture and he struck up a partnership with Steve Walsh from Kansas, combining efforts to forge Khymera. In 2005 Liverani release a new album with his band Empty Tremor: “The Alien Inside” features the new singer Oliver Hartmann. In 2007 Daniele forge Twinspirits and during the years he release 3 albums with this band. In 2013 he signed with italian label SG Records to release a new concept guitar album that will be released on early 2014.
