Here's some Japanese album release news, with links, for fans of *The Godfather Of Shred:

* I didn't make that up; it's BRILLIANT. Freddie Nelson called him that in an interview.

The manufacturer claims "product contents, release date, and inclusion specifications may change".
WHD hasn't announced it officially, apparently.
The CD's will be in "thick plastic cases".

This is a special lower-priced, boxed-set format re-release of five Paul Gilbert titles. Included albums are: Flying Dog (1998), Beehive Live (1999), Alligator Farm (2000), Raw Blues Power (2002), and a mysterious disc that only says "bonus 19 tracks". Would be great if it was Tough Eskimo, you know?

Beehive Live and Raw Blues Power had been out of print within Japan, so their re-release brings the items back to the forefront for a whole new generation of fans to purchase and enjoy.

I don't know what this means - Google Translate does no better with Japanese in 2014 then it did in 2009 - but it might be interesting: "Archive Collection of Paul Gilbert declined to latest studio recording album released in June 2014!"

This six CD package consists of
Studio albums:
Technical Difficulties (1999), Superheroes (2000), Getting Heavier (2002)
The live album Snowball Of Doom (2001), and a two disc set of the live album Snowball Of Doom 2 (2002)

A buyer of the set is missing Second Heat and Street Lethal... it's not a complete Racer X collection 'as marketed currently'. Most of the hardcore Racer X fans claim that the 2 'missing' albums are the band's best works, but YMMV.

The manufacturer claims "product contents, release date, and inclusion specifications may change".
WHD hasn't announced it officially, apparently.
The CD's will be in "thick plastic cases".

Because many of these items were out of print in the Japanese market, this re-release brings the items back to the forefront for a whole new generation of fans to purchase and enjoy.
