Chris Beckers: Navigation 

Since the release of his first solo project in 1980, Dutch guitarist Chris Beckers has been a household name in the world of jazz and fusion.

His solo albums were released all over Europe on his CrisCrazz label but also in Japan (Polydor) and England (Steinar Records). Over the years Beckers worked with many international jazz and fusion musicians such as Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Ernie Watts, Jimmy Haslip, Abraham Laboriel, Paulinho da Costa, Dick Morrissey, Peter Erskine, Alex Acuna, Tony Lakatos and Gerry Brown.

Beckers’ 12th solo album ‘Navigation’ was recorded in his Beau Garage Studio in Amsterdam with again an impressive list of cooperating musicians and guest-performances of trumpet player Eric Vloeimans and flautist Chris Hinze. The American rhythm section (Gary Novak on drums and Jimmy Haslip on bass) was recorded in the JHL Sound studio in Los Angeles with producer/keyboardist Jeff Lorber.
