Nili Brosh: the band announces three shows on the west coast

In commemoration of A Matter of Perception having recently come out, I'm happy to announce that I've put together a new band to play my material live! This brand new Nili Brosh Band lineup is a four-piece comprised of some of my best friends, who also happen to be very gifted musicians: Alon Mei-Tal on guitar, Jon Reshard on bass, and Punky Balfour on drums. Oh yeah…and I guess I'll be playing some guitar too!

We are super excited to start playing shows together, and we'll begin in the southern California area with three dates to end 2014:

  • December 10th - The Baked Potato, Los Angeles, CA: A Matter of Perception CD release party. We'll be doing two sets, and a very special guest or two may come and sit in! Click for tickets.
  • December 11th - M15, Corona, CA: I'm extremely honored to say that we'll be opening for one of my biggest guitar heroes' band - Greg Howe's Maragold. Click for tickets.
  • December 13th - Ramona Mainstage, Ramona, CA: opening for Maragold once again. Click for tickets.

Putting this band together to play the new material live for the first time is quite a special occasion for me. Having concentrated solely on my work with Tony MacAlpine, The Iron Maidens, and the making of this record for the past several years, I literally haven't played my own material live since 2010 - the last time was at the Through The Looking Glass CD release party! Looking back, it's pretty hard to believe…but there it is. Seeing as it's been so long, I must say I am extremely excited to play my music live again - especially since it means I get to share it with these three fantastic musicians. So if you're in the SoCal area, I sincerely hope to see you at one of these shows. Please come and say hello!

In other news, I will be closing December with a trip to the EMGtv studios in Santa Rosa, CA. It's been about six months since I was there recording the live performances of "Silence of Saturday" and "A Matter of Perception", and now I'll be back to perform a few more original songs. I won't reveal which yet, but I'm feeling fairly confident that you will all be pleased with the selections. :)

Thank you for your continued support, and I hope to see you soon!
