Next up in the RUSH 40 celebrations is the sixth studio album HEMISPHERES released in 1978. The album explores fantasy and science fiction themes in Neil Peart's lyrics and includes the band's first instrumental, the ambitious nine-and-a-half minute La Villa
Strangiato. HEMISPHERES was the group's fourth consecutive gold album in the U.S., featuring the singles The Trees andCircumstances. The album went platinum in the US fifteen years after its release and ranked #8 on Rolling Stone's Readers' Poll: Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time.
