LAS VEGAS – Legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist John Fogerty will bring back the golden age of rock during Peace, Love and Creedence, an eight-show residency at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Las Vegas, Jan. 8 – 23, 2016.

Produced by AEG Live, Peace, Love and Creedence will celebrate the music and culture of the 1960s, with a special focus on the year 1969. Through exclusive footage and personal stories, the intimate show will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the pivotal year Fogerty wrote and recorded three separate Creedence Clearwater Revival albums including Bayou Country, Green River and Willy and the Poor Boys.

“Peace, love and Vegas! I’m excited to be coming to The Venetian and bringing my ‘1969’ show for you all,” exclaimed Fogerty. “We are going to be rockin’ my Creedence Clearwater Revival songs along with many more. We’ll have some new things added to the show, too. Hope you all can come and help us rock it up in Vegas come January!”

Attendees will enjoy performances of iconic Creedence Clearwater Revival classics as well as Fogerty’s solo hits including “Fortunate Son,” “Centerfield,” “Down on the Corner,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and many more. Performances will take place Jan. 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22 and 23, 2016.

“We are proud to welcome another iconic musician to The Venetian family with the addition of John Fogerty,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “His music helped shape a generation and his fans will get a truly intimate show when he performs inside The Venetian Theatre.”

With a career spanning more than 50 years, Fogerty is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in rock history. Fogerty wrote, sang and produced numerous classic hits including “Born on the Bayou,” “Green River,” “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising,” which lead him to be named one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists (No. 40), 100 Greatest Songwriters (No. 40) and 100 Greatest Singers (No. 72) by Rolling Stone Magazine. Earning induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, he now adds author to his long list of accomplishments with the release of his highly-anticipated memoir Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music, which will be available Tuesday, Oct. 6. The autobiographical account takes readers through the highs and lows of Fogerty’s life and musical career as a member of Creedence Clearwater Revival and as a solo artist.

Tickets start at $59.50 (plus applicable fees) and go on sale Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. PDT at any Venetian or Palazzo Box Office, online at www.venetian.com/JohnFogerty or by calling (702) 414-9000 or (866) 641-7469.
