Pete Petty: My 3 Sons - Who's We? new album - high energy fusion trio with strong roots in rock and funk.

Pete Petty (guitar); Bobby Patterson (bass); Kenny Soule (drums); Mark Wells (organ); John Custer, Bobby Patterson (vocals)

My 3 Sons, led by guitarist/composer Pete Petty, is a high energy fusion trio with strong roots in rock and funk. On bass is Bobby Patterson (DAG, Go There). On drums is Kenny Soule (DAG, Go There, Nantucket, PKM, Mary McBride, Demolition String Band). Sharing musical roots in Raleigh, NC, the trio formed in 1987 and performed and recorded for three years. Back together again after two decades of pursuing other projects, My 3 Sons has recaptured the original spark - and then some.

Led by Grammy Award-nominated producer, artist and long-time friend, John Custer (Dag, Cry of Love, Corrosion of Conformity), "Who's We?" offers a taste of the trio's big sound. Thanks to the talents of engineer Ian Schreier of Manifold Recording, these tracks were recorded live with minimal overdubs to capture the dynamics and tone of a high-energy My 3 Sons performance. The addition of Mark Wells on organ adds a new dimension to My 3 Sons well-developed sound.

Hold on tight to cover plenty of musical ground, with tracks ranging from the power rock trio-influenced "Twenty Cents Short," "239" and "I'm Just Sayin'," to the jazz feel of "That's Messed Up," to the funk-inspired "Or You Could Play That" and "Pick Your Spot." The trio lightens it up with tracks like "Who's We?" and "A Good Conversation" to create a well-rounded set of new and favorite tunes.
