Joe Bonamassa to Headline Lancashire’s Symphony at the Tower 2016
US blues and rock musician Joe Bonamassa is to headline at Lancashire’s spectacular Symphony at the Tower event as part of only five UK dates in 2016.
Billed as JOE BONAMASSA IN CONCERT: A SALUTE TO THE BRITISH BLUES EXPLOSION, Bonamassa will pay homage to some of the best blues rock guitarists playing the music of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
The concert is part of St Catherine’s Hospice Symphony at the Tower weekend and will take place on Saturday July 2.
This year’s Symphony at the Tower will see performances from chart-topping Will Young, US blues and rock musician Joe Bonamassa and a classic Proms-style concert from The Symphony Spectacular.
Will Young kicks things off on Friday 1st July. The multi-million selling Brit Award winning singer-songwriter’s sixth album ‘85% Proof’ went straight to no. 1 and represents his most accomplished work to date. Experience Will Young’s exceptional talent, performing his popular hits and excerpts from his latest album.
US blues and rock musician Joe Bonamassa will pay homage to some of the best blues rock guitarists on Saturday 2nd July, playing the music of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. The concert is billed as one of his only five dates in the UK.
Symphony at the Tower 2016 will close on Sunday 3rd July with The Symphony Spectacular – a classical Proms-style concert for all the family to enjoy – going back to the roots of the original event featuring a live orchestra, picnics, family fun and fireworks.
