* Shawn Lane played in my band "Centerpeace" (with Robert Love & Larry Moore) at Chelsea Street Pub, Holiday Inn, & a few other places way back in 1982. I/we never recorded any of the gigs he did with us at that time.. however a few years later he used to sit in fairly regularly with the group I was in at the time, Lonely Street Duo. On two weekends in a row I was able to record him "jamming" with us but.. unfortunately.. all recordings were captured via cassette using my Hitachi "Boom Box".. the distortion is truly very near intolerable to listen to... but you can clearly hear it's Shawn Lane through the noise.

And for anyone that ever had the opportunity to hear Shawn play LIVE.. you know very well how LOUD it was whenever he performed and this IS part of a documented "history" (his & mine!) regardless of the boom! ;)
