Sunday morning improv session over this killer Joe Satriani style backing track. Playing over different types of backing tracks has been a bit of an obsession recently because I'm trying to develop new ideas and get away from licks and patterns that I always play. My legato technique has improved because of this, and it's also helping me play in keys that I'm not familiar with. This is one take, no edits, so there are a few mistakes. But that's the point: we live in a time where music is quantized and edited to perfection. But really, it's the imperfections that make music so beautiful \m/
