In our season premiere, Christone "KINGFISH" Ingram talks learning the blues, getting his start at Red's Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and learning to play at the Delta Blues Museum - Clarksdale, Mississippi Arts and Education Program. Kingfish samples several amazing guitars from collection at Songbirds Guitar Museum—a 1952 Copper Esquire, 1958 Gibson Flying V, 1957 “Aqua” Strat (once owned by Brian Setzer), 1965 Fender Jaguar, 1957 Seminole Red Stratocaster, and a 1968 Purple & Silver Telecaster.
