During the summer of 2019, Jared James Nichols traveled to the Seymour Duncan tiny house, located just outside of Santa Barbara, CA, to film our third Seymour Duncan "Portrait Series" video. Jared is an exceptional guitarist, known for his soulful feel, technical prowess, "pick-less" finger-style technique, and amazing tone.
Alongside his rhythm section, Jared James Nichols has travelled the world, spreading his unique flavor of vintage-inspired modern Blues Rock. His power trio is always sure to bring the "BLUESPOWER," and, as you watch Jared perform, it becomes infectious. Jared has toured across the US and Europe with acts like Living Colour, Blue Oyster Cult, Zakk Wylde, Glenn Hughes, Walter Trout, Fozzy, and John 5, and is currently in the middle of a headlining tour in the UK and Europe.
While Jared plays a variety of Seymour Duncan pickups, he is most known for playing the special vintage-accurate Seymour Duncan Dog Ear P90 that's unique to his Signature "Old Glory" Epiphone Les Paul.
