Back in the late 1980's "The Guitar Center" held a contest called "Jammin With Paul Gilbert". They handed out cassette tapes to anyone interested in participating in the contest. Side (A) of the tape is what I have uploaded to this video, Paul Gilbert's original track "Weedwacker". Listen to PG absolutely melt faces with his terrorizing fretwork. Side (B) of the tape was a stripped-down backing track where aspiring guitarists could submit themselves playing over the track and compete for prizes and honors. I believe the winner actually jammed with Paul at The Guitar Center in Hollywood California if I am not mistaken.
