Welcome back to another video! Today's video is a quick demo featuring some melodic licks with the Gibson Kirk Douglas Signature SG
This is a section of the Etherius song "Unity In Darkness."
I recorded a stripped down version with just the guitars so I can showcase some of the tones I get with this gorgeous Gibson SG.....
Clean guitars are a blend of the bridge and neck pickups and the lead tone is all bridge pickup....
All tones are presets I created with the Axe Fx....
I'm working on a proper demo of this guitar, complete with a breakdown of the specs and some more music to show off how versatile this instrument is....
Still trying to figure out how to keep that middle pickup from getting in my way 🤣🤣

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a video discussing this stunning Kirk Douglas Signature SG, as done by @The Trogly's Guitar Show. I loved the color(Inverness Green) so much that I decided to buy it from him!
For those who don't know, Kirk Douglas is the guitarist of The Roots. I honestly wasn't familiar with him until I saw this guitar, but after checking out a few videos, I understand why this guitar has the features it does. Kirk is a great player who uses a variety of sounds!
