I'm very happy to announce that I've teamed up with my friends at @Strandberg Guitars to build my very first signature guitar! It's been a long time in the making but was definitely worth the wait. I couldn't be happier with how it came out. It's everything I could ever hope for in a guitar!
The Boden NX 8 Richard Henshall Edition was designed and spec’d for modern extreme metal and prog players who also require the utmost flexibility and versatility to cover the broadest range of great guitar sounds possible. It's balanced, punchy, and articulate, suited for both rhythm and lead playing but with an emphasis on a broad swath of the midrange. Tonally, the lows are deep and tight but provide a hint of pleasant sag provided by the solid Basswood core. The Maple top and Maple neck + fretboard combo emphasizes the high-mids that cut through the mix while complementing other instruments like the bass and keyboards.
